| So - Is anyone with a PSP doing any emulation stuff? An exploit was recently released that allows you to easily run emulators on v1.5 firmware PSPs, and man is it great. The PSP makes for a very good NES emulator, and should be pretty good for SNES emulation as well once the code is optimized a bit (it currently runs a little slow unless you turn frame skip on). There are a bunch of emulators I haven't tried yet, too - MAME (only supports a subset of ROMs, unfortunately), Game Boy Color/Advance, Turbo Graphix 16, etc.

| Go to your local video game store and hunt around in the bargain bin. When you find Fugitive Hunter...BUY IT! I can't even begin to tell you how amazingly terrible this game is. It's an FPS all the way up until you meet the terrorist at the end of the level... Then the camera pans back into a 3rd person view and you get to lay some serious Kung Fu shit down on some terrorists. It helps if your high or drunk... or both...sure.

| So I just rented DESTROY ALL HUMANS! Can I just say this is the most fun I've had in a loooooooong time playing a game? Go rent it. For real. Go. NOW. You're basically this alien that runs around destroying everything... but there is a story. And it takes place in the 50's. And it's got a lot of great jokes. I guess kinda picture Mars Attacks! as a video game. The president sounds just like Mayor Quimby and the main little alien dude sounds like Jack Nicholson. It's a great game... seriously... check it out. The weapons are awesome, the gameplay is fantastic, and it's just all-around fun. _E

| I second what Ensign said. Its a pretty cool game. Its not that hard and has very little replay value, so go rent it instead. I also just finished God of War and holy shit, if you haven't played it yet, go get it now. If you're a fan of brutal 3rd person action adventure games, this is it. It really pushed the limits of the PS2 in terms of graphics and performance. With such a great storyline, puzzles to solve, and brutal fighting, I couldn't put it down. Take a minute while playing and just look around you...it has a very epic feel to it. Adam

i have to agree that God of War is an awesome game. it is by far the best i have played in a while. the graphics were unbelievable, sound effects, music, and story were off the hook.

| I got my copy of katamari damacy 2 today. so far, I've had to roll up a ball of fire, a snowball, and a gingerbread house. I got to roll underwater, where I rolled up a cat wearing a fucking snorkel, and got to push around a sumo wrestler like he was a katamari until he got fat enough to knock another dude out of the ring. I beat the 500m stage and the king said "what? you didn't get 1000m?" I got to 585m and there was a dude so huge that I couldn't even see his knees. you've gotta be -huge- to roll that motherfucker up. puts Make the Moon to shame. KD2 just seems all around weirder and trippier than the first one. it's awesome. it's not any different than the first one, but for anyone who liked the first one and wants more it's very highly recommended.

I LOVED Katamari Damacy! I played it at a friend's party, and for several days afterward I had the great urge to roll things into balls...

yup. I had a Ps2 controller short out so bad that the ps2 would turn off during gameplay... unpluggd the controller and plugged in another and voila... no more problems..

| I actually had that problem with a Gamecube once. A bad controller extension cable caused it to not boot. The friend of mine that owned said Gamecube called me up and said "Dead Gamecube! Fuck!", at which point i took it from him as I am known for repairing consoles. I get back to my house and the Cube works perfiectly. Go back to his house, and it's fucked again. Bad extension! This is actually the only problem I have ever personally encountered with a Gamecube. The PS2 and Xbox on the otherhand, I have come across dead DVD drives contantly. While I have never fully repaired either of those, I have fixed the drives enough for the owner to get another good year of use out of the previously dead toy before having to purchase a new one.
